We’re proud to share that CSUF PRSSA was recognized at the Student Life & Leadership Awards, bringing home five awards that reflect the innovation, leadership, and impact of our chapter. Member of the Year – awarded to Adam Atwi, our 2025–2026 Vice President of Professional Development Tuffy Innovation Award – recognized for implementing a new RSVP system and integrating a live Padlet during panels, allowing attendees to submit questions in real time and engage more dynamically Outstanding Program in Academia – in recognition of hosting and selling out the PRSSA Western District Conference, PRNEXT, which brought together 20+ industry professionals under the theme AI Ethics and the Future of Communications, reaching 200+ attendees Alumni Engagement Award - recognizing CSUF PRSSA’s commitment to fostering strong, lasting connections between our chapter and its alumni community Advisor of the Year - awarded to Ken Hagihara (@paohaggi ), in recognition of his mentorship, guidance, and unwavering belief in the chapter, continuously guiding students toward professional growth and success in the field of public relations These achievements highlight the creativity and dedication of our members, as well as our commitment to elevating the student experience through innovative programming and meaningful industry connections. CSUF PRSSA members visited IW Group for an office tour where five professionals — including 3 Titan alumni — shared their experiences and insights on multicultural marketing and careers at an agency. From learning about purpose-driven campaigns to understanding the importance of culturally informed storytelling, it was an eye-opening look into how impactful this work can be when rooted in community. Today is the day ✨ CSUF PRSSA is wrapping up an incredible year, and we are excited to celebrate with you at our End-of-Year Gala. Join us for an evening of connection, recognition, and memorable moments. Less than 24 hours until the CSUF PRSSA Gala ⏳ Our biggest event of the year, the PRSSA Western District Conference, brought together over 200 attendees, including students and more than 20 industry professionals. PR Next: Ethics, AI, and the Future of Communications created space for learning, conversation, and connection through keynote speakers, industry-led sessions, office tours, and a hands-on nonprofit workshop. Students had the opportunity to engage directly with professionals and gain real-world insight into the evolving communications landscape. With representation from organizations including the Dodgers, Blizzard Entertainment, and Warner Bros. Discovery, this experience reflected the scale and impact of our chapter.
