Bring the kids to explore 50+ hands-on activities in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. From experiments to creative projects, there’s something for every young learner.

Congratulations to Melissa Miller, lecturer in CSUCI’s School of Education, on being named a 2026 Johns Hopkins Sara D. Barder Fellow!
Selected through a competitive, student-informed nomination process, this fellowship recognizes outstanding educators who make a meaningful impact on student learning.
Miller’s work in middle school mathematics focuses on engaging students in reasoning, problem-solving, and mathematical communication. Her recent efforts include curriculum and assessment design, advancing standards-based grading practices, and developing programs that center student discourse and justification.
