The world is changing. So are we.
This week, we’ll share our updated logo and name. We’re creating new channels to help us reach more people and advocate for #SafetyThatLasts and #JusticeThatHeals.
New look, same mission. We hope you’ll be excited to help us grow!
As part of our mission to bring healing to crime survivors and their communities, we have an ongoing partnership with @betterhelp to provide free, high-quality therapy to Crime Survivors Speak members.

BUT BY THE COURAGE IT TAKES TO KEEP MOVING FORWARD.”

Over 200 crime survivors rallied at Survivors Speak California last week to demand the state reform their victims compensation criteria.
Research data found that CalVCB gave out 27% LESS COMPENSATION TO VICTIMS than in 2019.
Survivors Speak is an annual event that brings hundreds survivors and community organizations to the state Capitol to advocate for policy changes that prioritize victims support and healing.

During Mental Health Awareness Month, we want to remind all crime survivors that healing from trauma IS possible.
At Crime Survivors Speak, one of our primary goals is to encourage and facilitate that healing. It starts with an individual and spreads to entire communities.
Your mental health as a survivor matters. You deserve healing. With Crime Survivors Speak, you're never alone in your journey.💙
Survivors Speak California this year brought survivor leaders from across the state to build with each other while also advocating for policies that help other survivors in the aftermath of tragedy.
This year marks a turning point in our flagship event by bringing in youth survivor leaders to launch the campaign for the groundbreaking THRIVE Act which would offer free mental health services for youth survivors of gun violence!
We want to send our utmost gratitude and respect for all the survivors who offered their time, energy and voices to this event. We hear you, we see you, we are you!
