Over the past few months, @royalairforceuk Counter-Uncrewed Aerial System teams have been working around the clock in the Middle East. They have been using Rapid Sentry and Lightweight Multirole Missiles to shoot down drone threats targeting @ministryofdefence personnel, partners and allies.

The Defence Modelling & Simulation Office (DMSO) hosted its first-ever Hackathon this week - and the results speak for themselves. Teams competed to solve challenges around how Defence verifies and uses modelling and simulation data, with the winning team building a working web app prototype in just two days.
This marks the first formal collaboration of its kind between the MOD, industry and academia, delivering on the Strategic Defence Review's ambition to build a thriving innovation and industrial base for Defence.
