Direktur Jenderal Riset dan Pengembangan (Dirjen Risbang) Kemdiktisaintek melaksanakan pertemuan bersama Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) dan Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) Australia untuk membahas penguatan kolaborasi riset dan inovasi antara Indonesia dan Australia, Jakarta (11/05).
Pertemuan ini membahas pengembangan kerja sama strategis melalui program KONEKSI, penguatan mekanisme pendanaan riset bersama (co-funding), serta rencana pengembangan skema Government-to-Government (G2G) antara Kemdiktisaintek dan lembaga sains Australia.
Kolaborasi difokuskan pada sejumlah sektor prioritas, mulai dari kesehatan, energi transisi, pengelolaan sampah dan pengurangan plastik, hingga pengembangan teknologi masa depan seperti kecerdasan artifisial dan teknologi antariksa.

Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi, Sains, dan Teknologi (Kemdiktisaintek) melalui Direktorat Jenderal Riset dan Pengembangan memperkuat kolaborasi strategis Indonesia–Australia dalam bidang sains, teknologi, dan inovasi melalui Australia-Indonesia Science Management Symposium (AI-SMS) yang diselenggarakan bersama CSIRO, DFAT, dan BRIN di Jakarta (12/5).
Forum ini menjadi ruang kolaborasi antar pemerintah, peneliti, dan lembaga riset untuk membahas penguatan ekosistem riset, pengembangan talenta sains dan teknologi, hingga strategi hilirisasi inovasi yang berdampak bagi masyarakat.
Berbagai isu strategis turut dibahas dalam simposium ini, mulai dari penguatan STEM, pengukuran dampak ekonomi riset, pengembangan program inovasi berbasis misi, hingga penguatan kerja sama internasional dalam pengelolaan sains dan teknologi.
Melalui kemitraan yang semakin erat antara Kemdiktisaintek, CSIRO, DFAT, dan BRIN, diharapkan kolaborasi Indonesia–Australia dapat terus mendorong pengembangan riset dan inovasi yang inklusif, berkelanjutan, serta memberikan manfaat nyata bagi masyarakat kedua negara.

CEADH supports Aboriginal-led digital health innovation, strengthening data sovereignty and culturally safe health systems 💪
The session brought together leaders across community-controlled health, research, and digital innovation to begin shaping a shared vision 💫
