From the flowing river pattern underfoot to locally inspired artwork throughout the concourse, each element tells the story of the Central San Joaquin Valley, honoring its geology, agricultural roots, and the people who shape it.
Through a curated artist selection process, Fresno Yosemite International Airport partnered with the Fresno Arts Council to identify an award-winning artist whose vision could be fully integrated into the project.
The result is a design that doesn’t just live in the space, it’s embedded within it.

A suspended sculpture and terrazzo medallion were designed as one connected experience.
The terrazzo river flows through the Fresno Airport concourse as an intuitive guide, subtly directing travelers forward while grounding them in the landscape of the Central Valley. Beyond the concourse, the project includes expanded passenger and baggage screening and a new FIS facility. Strengthening a key economic driver in the Central San Joaquin Valley and improving connectivity to the western U.S. and Mexico.
A collaboration that balances performance, art, and regional identity.

What does it take to suspend a sculpture in an airport concourse?
Months of coordination, structural analysis, and international logistics.
The custom metal piece was fabricated overseas and shipped by boat before arriving on site. Throughout the process, we collaborated closely with the artist, working through a translator to ensure every detail and connection honored the original design intent. Suspending it required precise structural integration and seamless contractor coordination. The result feels effortless, floating above travelers, but behind it is a story of global partnership, technical precision, and deep respect for the artistic vision.
The polished surface catches natural and overhead light, amplifying the sense of movement and reinforcing the connection between sky, water, and ground.

Inspired by the iconic Hotel Renegade, our team transformed this unique downtown Boise landmark into an edible masterpiece for the first Great Gingerbread Build, supporting Corpus Commons. An organization rooted in #hospitality, #dignity, and creating a welcoming place where every guest is #seen, #supported, and given #hope. From hospitality design to gingerbread architecture, we had a blast celebrating buildings that bring communities together.
Corpus Commons (formerly Corpus Christi House) continues its mission of serving our community with compassion. As part of the event, they are hosting an on-site donation drive to collect adult winter clothing (jackets, scarves, socks, gloves, etc.) and ground coffee for their guests.

Working alongside Albertsons Companies Inc. and Related California, our team tackled the challenges of a multi-story grocery space through innovative and coordinated solutions.
