LGBTIQ+ people continue to face everyday challenges: safety, housing, legal recognition of their identity, recognition of partnerships, lack of basic services, domestic violence, among others. Equality is not a privilege, it is a right. When equality is denied, resistance becomes necessary. In the spirit of this resistance, LGBTIQ+ people invite you to join in the activism that is especially needed today, given the current global climate. This year’s conference, “10 Years of Pride, Resistance and Action,” will reflect on the journey of the LGBTIQ+ movement in Kosovo through the voices of activists, community members, institutional representatives, and partners who have supported the struggle for equality, dignity, and freedom over the past decade. Përmes pranisë live, videos dhe interpretimit poetik, artistja Ms. Indefinite trajton trupin si territor politik, dashurinë si formë rezistence, dhimbjen si kujtesë kolektive dhe identitetin si proces të vazhdueshëm. Elementi i gjakut përdoret si metaforë e dhunës strukturore, por edhe e jetës, lidhjes dhe trashëgimisë emocionale. Through live presence, video, and poetic interpretation, artist Ms. Indefinite explores the body as a political territory, love as a form of resistance, pain as collective memory, and identity as an ongoing process.
