"Ennoble Inception" ceramic, soda fired, 2026.
This bad boy with the oRb is the second sculptural piece made for the emerging artist show. Imma be real I like my other piece "Vigor Consumption" more but I feel like this piece still offered some creative challenges and was joy to make. The results are certainly not disappointing.
"Vigor consumption" ceramic, soda fired, 2026. One of the first large scale sculpture I've made in awhile I'm really happy with the results cant wait to see the piece next to all the others in the emerging artist show 2026.
Made lots of mug (and shot glasses) all of which will be for sale this Tuesday to Friday in the McKnight Art Center. Along with some other older stuff that I have around. ill be joined by my friends and fellow artist all of which produce lovely art, come pick something up for the holidays.
last post for the day i promise, just a couple of random bowls that I really wanted to post but didn't fit in with my previous two. all of these bowls were made and donated to Empty Bowls Wichita.
Also if you were wondering my final count of donated bowls is 40 for this year if I plan to donate a larger amount I'm going to have to make less quality and more quantity than I did this year, or just get better
I had a great time making all of these lovely bowls for Empty bowls Wichita. I used this opportunity to get better at repetition throwing and a little bit of production i ended up making sisters not twins but that's what i was expecting. All of these will be available on the general admission tables.
These are a new form and style of work that I've been developing that I plan on going forward with, and you can be the first to get one of these at Empty Bowls Wichita this Saturday in the upscale bowls section there are four total of this style that I donated so if you want to get one your gonna have to be quick.
I photographed this a little to close for Instagram, woops. and of course macro shots at the end for funsies
