The Akashic Study Hall is a monthly drop in space for current Akashic practitioners to do self-exploration with the Akasha. Each study hall has a central theme, and a series of questions based on the theme for self study. This isn’t quite anger. It’s electricity. It’s not frustration, it’s anticipation of getting that first bit of kindling to catch fire. It’s the moments before the bonfire. I had a call with my friend @softbutchdiaries today and we talked about good and hard things. How helpless we feel watching the flotillas be captured. How helpless we feel in general. How movement feels misguided. How our personal traumas are up right now, inflamed and activated by the world around us. And we talked about how ready we feel for this moment in Earth. We were born for this. We came here at exactly right now to move in the world in exactly the way we do. I had an ultrasound today to get images of a mass in my left breast. I spent last night disavowing this appointment and consciously thinking of other things. I woke up with the fear all the way down in my feet, almost out of my body completely. I got dressed and by then it felt like resolve. NOTHING activates the fire like the potential of cancer. I am not here to fuck around. I DID come to play but that’s different 😜 I have these moments where my resolute self, my intense soul shines through the foggy casualness of the being the cool human girl Leah Garza. I have no chill, if I’m being honest. I have tried. I say all this to say- you also came here at this time for some reason. Find it now. It might not be what you think, but I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you, like me, are a part of the remedy. Your wants and needs are medicine for the insidious colonial compression happening right now. You chasing your motherfucking desires is healing the imbalance of resource distribution on the planet. The Akashic field taught me that. At the bottom of any rabbit hole or spiral you go down, there is only you- entitled and invited to exist as you are. I need you as you. We need you. Sometimes I wake up talking to my Akashic records, or I wake up with them talking to me. I woke up repeating this phrase over and over. They speak sometimes just before I wake up, telling me what to keep in mind for the day, like a mom giving directions to her daughter before sending her off to school. From them to us: “Right now let your heart swell with as much love as you hold grief. Expand and expand with love just before the point of collapse. Like holding your breath underwater until you might pass out. And then hold it longer. You’re so sad and frustrated and you want to curl in on yourself. That is the time to expand, past your comfort zone, past the zone right outside your comfort zone, past the big breaker waves, past buoys telling you to swim back. Keep going. Expand to the deep waters. Your heart is an ocean. Less explored or known than outer space. Your capacity is limitless. You can love and love and love and love with no bounds. So do it. Now on your own. On this planet, at this time, to those you have deemed unworthy. Do it. Love them past your capacity.
