OFFICIAL RELEASE DAY: @cryptsofdespair (Lithuania) - We Belong In The Grave (Death Metal) The new Crypts of Despair album is a different, evolved beast. The music is darker, heavier, more contemporary and still bearing dissonant and blackened influences but on the whole is a lot more death metal sounding. It’s menacing albeit in a different way. I could hear some doomy, even industrial touches and it’s littered with powerful pounding parts that are contrasted with plaintive melodies. You might have to treat it differently but it’s a solid album in its own right.
