After careful consideration, we have decided to drop out of this tour. We are very sorry for everyone who where looking forward to seeing us. But we feel we need some time to collect ourselves. Luckily, the heroes in @recoil_band will jump in for us, to destroy the roads with @immeritsdm . Our friends in @_virus_band_ and @cataegis_doom will also be replacing us on some shows. We hope we can play in every single one of these cities one day when the time is right. We’d also like to thank everyone who came by early to see us at @extreme_sounds_sweden a few weeks ago. In memory of Karl ”Knalle” Arvidsson 2007-2026 Back in November, cryptorium became a four piece band. This was when we recruited Ludvig Carman on rythm guitar, to complete our sound as a live band. Ludvig wasn’t able to join any of the shows we played in December due to logistical issues, and March 7th, at Stockholm Extreme Sounds at Hus 7, was supposed to be our first ever live show as a four piece band. Now that our beloved friend Knalle has left us, we have been very uncertain of the future of this band. After a whole lot of talking, grieving and thinking. We decided to play the gig on March 7th. This will be our tribute to our friend, and our way to carry the torch that he helped to light. We will never be the same band again. Nothing can replace what knalle brought to us, both as a basist and as a human and friend. But with all of the hours he put down on this band, not trying our hardest to honor his work would feel nothing short of wrong. So we ask you all. To join us, if you can. Next Saturday at 15:30 at Hus 7. To honor and commemorate Karl ”Knalle” Arvidsson. As for the other shows we are booked on this year, we can’t say much. Unfortunately, that’s the reality for us right now. We can’t be certain if anything feels right. But we can tell you already. Knalles final contribution to the band, our sophomore album, is nearing it’s completion. Dear fans, supporters and friends of Cryptorium It is with heavy hearts that we write this message. On February 1st we received the devastating news that our founding member, basist and long time friend Karl ”Knalle” Arvidsson has passed away. Knalle was without a doubt the funniest and most genuine person we have ever known. Nobody was ever bored around him, and no one ever disliked him. He was one of the most talented musicians we have ever met and loosing him leaves us completely devastated . While we mourn and grieve the loss of our brother, his legacy shall always be carried on. By us and by you all. His legacy shall always be carried on. Through memories, stories, pictures and of course, his legendary bass playing. The future for us is unknown. We will leave nothing said or unsaid. Right now we will be quiet. And grieve. Now we wish that all of you, friends and enemies, take care of yourselves and your loved ones. Estonia and Finland has been conquered! These two where the final shows of ours for 2025. Thank you to everyone who came out to our shows and supported us. And a massive thank you to the people at @sugisextremefest for hosting our gig in tallin on Friday and @1000eyes.fi // @thetruewhisper for hosting our gig at bar loose in Helsinki yesterday. After a crushing weekend in Stockholm with @thetruewhisper , @harroweddeathmetal and @repuked we are now going over to the other side of the Baltic Sea to tear the innards of Estonia and Finland.
