We’re excited to kickstart our new series about how you can use AI to boost your application, ace your video interview and feel confident walking into our in‑person assessments! 🎉 You’ll find our full AI guidance on our website and we encourage you to read it before you apply or join us for an interview. We’ll also be sharing how we use AI as a firm to power and support our legal work! And just to be clear: we don’t use AI to review or score applications for Early Talent or other roles to the firm. Every application is read by our recruitment team, with decisions made by our Early Talent team and our Training Principal Partners. Stay tuned! We will be sharing the next part of our series soon 🚀 #CareerInLaw #AIGuidance #TrainingContract #LegalTech

Over the past month, we hosted two Placement Schemes (Vacation Schemes) in our Guildford and London office. Here is everything they got up to 👇: 📝 Real legal work - from researching tricky areas of case law for Associates, drafting emails to clients and preparing documents to help close deals! We welcomed students across our teams such as Real Estate, Construction, Private Client, Tax and Corporate. 🤝 Our legal tech and innovation team delivered workshops helping candidates learn more about efficiency and risks of technology. 👋 Panel sessions - throughout the week, we hosted presentations where Associates and Partners offered their perspectives on market conditions, commercial awareness and why they chose their legal specialism. ‼️ Assessment Day - as part of our Placement Schemes programmes we offer each candidate an opportunity to interview for a Training Contract with us. Thank you to all the Placement Scheme students who joined us for bringing their fresh perspectives and thoughtful questions. Interested in applying for our Placement Schemes? Our applications will re-open in October 2026. #trainingcontract #traineesolicitor #solicitorapprentice #London #Guildford

Hong Kong is re‑emerging as a strategic base for fund managers navigating global uncertainty. Strong markets, clear regulation, and new incentives are reinforcing its position in Asia. Our Financial Services Regulation & Funds Partner Gaven Cheong and Associate Didi Chan, alongside Alvin Fan, CEO of OP Investment Management, explore why Hong Kong continues to stand out as a strategic Asian financial hub, and how its market depth, regulatory framework and global connectivity across Asia, Europe and the Middle East are influencing fund managers’ operating decisions. The article also considers how the Hong Kong Government’s 2026–27 Financial Budget further strengthens this position for fund managers, family offices and virtual asset structures. #HongKong #FundManagers #AssetManagement #KnowingWhatMatters #CareerInLaw

Since 2019, our volunteer lawyers have undertaken pro bono secondments as part of a collaborative project with legal charity, European Lawyers in Lesvos (ELIL). The project is an award-winning international collaboration with ELIL and other firms. It aims to help address the access to justice crisis for asylum seekers in Greece, including many who have gone through extremely challenging journeys. The work our volunteers do involves incredibly interesting and vital support to ELIL’s lawyers in asylum interview preparation sessions, note-taking, fact-checking, producing first draft supporting memoranda, and assisting with specific legal research. #ProBono #LegalCareer

Charles Russell Speechlys has advised TPE on the Luxembourg aspects of the first-ever share sale on the Private Intermittent Securities and Capital Exchange System (PISCES) — a pioneering transaction that unlocks liquidity in Oxford Science Enterprises (OSE) and establishes a new paradigm for private market investment within regulated exchange infrastructure. The transaction involved the creation and launch of a TPEIC, an innovative application of the Luxembourg securitisation undertaking regime that provides investors with access to Oxford Science Enterprises (OSE) — a £1.3 billion investment company commercialising cutting-edge research from the University of Oxford — through the London Stock Exchange’s PISCES platform, the Private Securities Market, which launched in late 2025. PISCES represents the UK’s first regulatory framework for private share trading, enabling shareholders of private companies to access liquidity through regulated share trading events hosted by FCA-approved operators, without the ongoing compliance obligations associated with public markets. #TrainingContract #Regulation #Corporate #CareerInLaw #CompanyLaw

@droitupecofficiel @upecofficiel @crstrainees
