I love to bring my little camping chair into the middle of the creek and sit with my hands and feet in the water on hot days (it was 94 today!). A few years ago when the beaver dam was still intact, it became a full-on swimming hole. But as long as it's high enough that I can let the water run over me, I'm happy. #creeklife

Woodpeckers, with their long tongues, can sometimes be seen sipping from hummingbird feeders. This one seemed to surprise the hummingbird but eventually they both ate together
