Personally, my favourite colour is the golden hue that settles over the North Devon coast as the sun starts to set.
That soft glow where the sea reflects onto the sky, everything turns hazy and warm, and the whole beach feels like it’s under some kind of filter.
It never gets old for me.
And when you stay with us, your evenings end like this too. Slow walks back from the beach, salty skin, windows still open, everything outside glowing gold.

This month we are finally opening our doors to our newest cabin by the sea in Croyde, Saltwater.
It’s just a 5 minute walk from Croyde beach, and the perfect family coastal getaway spot.
Saltwater sleeps up to 5, and inside blends warm tones, mid-century furniture, and laid back vintage style to create a welcoming, nostalgic space.
It also has a hot tub, and outdoor shower and plenty of garden space for children to explore.

You’ve spent the day soaking up that feeling of being by the coast. Slower, easier, with nothing major on the agenda.
As it gets closer to sunset, you wander out over the dunes and down onto the beach to catch the golden light.
