2025 has been a pretty rowdy year for us personally.
Along the way we’ve played some very cool gigs, seen new places, met new people, and even started writing some new music.
Once we’ve got a clearer idea of how everything’s shaping up, we’re hoping to announce some comeback shows and celebrate the best way we know how…..
in a loud, sweaty room with all of you.

Hi everyone,
It’s been a whirlwind few weeks, and I wanted to share some personal news. I (James) have recently been diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma, a certain type of blood cancer that affects the lymphatic system. The good news is that it’s very treatable, and the remission rate is extremely high - so I’m feeling optimistic and in good hands with an amazing NHS team at @nhsbartshealth
That said, I started treatment yesterday and I’m going to need to take some time to focus on my health. Unfortunately, this means we’ll have to cancel our upcoming shows in the Netherlands. We’re gutted to do this, but we hope you understand.
Thanks so much for all your support — it means the world. It’s gonna be a long road ahead but I’ll be back on stage as soon as I can.

Le vendredi 17 octobre au Ferrailleur
Reason Enough, le troisième album de Crows, est celui que le groupe a mis le plus de temps à écrire et celui sur lequel ils se sont accordés le plus de libertés. Cela a d'ailleurs conduit le groupe à faire évoluer le son post-punk du quatuor vers de nouveaux horizons.
Pour l'occasion, James Cox (chant), Steve Goddard (guitare), Jith Amarasinghe (basse) et Sam Lister (batterie) ont troqué leur local de répétition habituel, pour les murs caverneux d'un "petit studio bizarre". Plus précisément, une ancienne église catholique et un couvent. Le groupe s'installe dans la crypte de l'église, plus propice à l’inspiration des bases de Reason Enough. Armés de dizaines d'idées, ils retournent ensuite à Londres pour les peaufiner et travaillent avec le producteur Andy Savours, lauréat du Mercury Prize et maître dans l'art du disque indé soigné.
Le résultat : un album concis de 10 titres qui démontre la polyvalence sonore de Crows. Moins lo-fi que les précédents, il pousse un peu plus loin le travail sur les mélodies tout en conservant l'essentiel de ce qui fait Crows : un esprit punk indomptable !
