What a day! We are so thankful to have been connected with @fia.usa and one of their Canadian correspondents, Matt. As a club we are able to support @pitmans2vanuatu ministry in Vanuatu by gifting them with @matsuru gis so each of their students and future students can train to the best of their ability. Being able to bless another BJJ ministry is another crazy part in this story God is writing for us.

Blue belt for Judy. When we first met Judy, she was an (even tinier) 16 year old girl who was trying jiu jitsu for the first time. She has been nothing but consistent since that first day and has become a force to be reckoned with, just like her older sister. A much deserved promotion! We can’t wait to see where this journey takes you!
Added 5 NEW grey belts to the mix and striped up some “old” ones. These boys have put in the work and have remained dedicated, not only to the sport of jiu jitsu, but also to the Word of God. It’s an honour to watch them grow in their friendships with each other and become young men of God. We are so thankful for the faithful men who lead this group and pour their hearts into each one of our Dragon Slayers.
These kids. Every single one of them showed up and competed to the best of their ability. We are so proud of each one of them! Showing up is half the battle. Thank you to our coaches, Brandon, Chad, Ben, and Seth for being there for the kids, coaching and encouraging them, win or lose.

Almost 50 youth on the mats tonight. Nothing could have prepared us for this. This is all God.
Thank you to @submissionartsacademy for having Coach Brandon out to train while he was in Barrie. You guys have formed such an amazing group of people and a fantastic gym atmosphere with top notch instruction. Thank you for your hospitality!
This wraps up the 2025 competition season. These four competitors showed up, put their best foot forward, and did it all to the Glory of God. Each guy walked away with a medal. Well done boys and thank you to coach Brandon for taking the day to be there!
Still thinking about the Dojo Storm Championship on Sunday. What an honour it was to host everyone! We are so blessed to have the space to hold so many competitors and their families. We loved every minute of it and our students are already asking when the next one is. Thank you @hawkdation for organizing and letting us be a part of such an amazing event.
