After 2 months of teaching slacklining to a group of Syrian, Palestinian, and Lebanese youth, the Crossing Lines volunteers put on a highline demonstration for them. Teaching slacklining isn't just about balance and focus. It's about redefining what each of us is capable of accomplishing and changing perceptions about what is possible.

We start each slackline session by getting the kids in to a circle (dayira) to introduce the teachers and do a warm up. It's here, making eye contact and being silly together that we start to connect.
