• Various fixes and performance improvements
We’ve just released a major update for CROSSBOX Lap Timing (for iOS - Android update is coming soon), completely reworked app (fixed many bugs) now fully optimized for RaceBox Mini, Mini S & Micro.
Crossbox is a well-known brand in the Motocross community, but over time it’s been picked up more and more in car racing, karting, downhill MTB and other racing disciplines — so this update is focused on making it a solid, reliable tool across all of them.
What you can expect:
• Very high lap time accuracy – extensive work on smoothing & interpolation brings results down to ~0.01–0.02s
• Professional analysis, simple to use – clear data without unnecessary complexity
• Cloud-based storage – all sessions are securely stored on our servers and always accessible
• Driver connection – add others, compare laps and performance directly
• Track leaderboards – see how you rank on each track
• Live lap timing & delta – use your phone as a real-time display or review sessions afterwards
• AI-assisted Pro-Analysis – quickly identify where time is gained or lost
• Lap playback – analyze laps in detail
There’s a 14-day free trial, so you can try everything on track without commitment. After that, the app costs €29,99/6months.
Feedback from the community is always appreciated!
We tested 49, 50 and 51 tooth sprockets on a 125cc.
The result: very similar lap times.
But looking deeper, small differences can still show up —
especially in how the bike drives out of corners.
250 two-stroke vs. 450 four-stroke
Same rider — over 2 seconds difference. The 450 was faster.
The data shows why:
especially in tight corners, more speed from mid-corner to exit and stronger drive.
Crossbox has improved 🚀
Make sure to download the latest app version. Over the last few months, we’ve improved the app’s overall performance, increased stability, and added a brand-new feature: every user now gets a monthly email summary of all sessions. 📈🏆
Stay tuned — the next app version will bring an even better live lap timing experience, built especially for on-road racers.
The new CBX40 is now available! Better be fast - limited stock only. 🫵
You don’t need to be a pro to train like one. Crossbox was developed for dedicated amateur riders who want to understand their progress and want to have more fun at the track.
