hi friends, marina here. i’m excited to announce that we released one song from our new EP on Bandcamp today (link in bio). the rest of the EP will be released later this year. in honor of women’s history month, i am sharing our song called “the only quiet woman is a dead one.” the title is a reference to a letter written by the author & poet Sylvia Plath, preceding her suicide. it reflects societal pressures often silencing women against patriarchal forces; a misogynistic view that opinionated women are distasteful or troublesome. i encourage you to disregard everyone’s expectations & speak up, especially in a room full of men. unleash your inner lioness because we need it. hope you enjoy the song xo

Made a primary instrument switch from the Sterling StingRay bass (which I’ve been rocking for 4 years) to the Schecter V Ani bass, Justin Beck from @glassjaw signature bass. The 12th fret has their 1993 logo on it. I’m in love.

@jean_scene_ Fest 2 at @greenbeacongallery in Greensburg, PA was a success. This was the furthest we’ve ever traveled to play a show & we are forever grateful for the opportunity to meet & play with a bunch of talented bands. We were also fortunate to experience gorgeous weather & be around gorgeous peak foliage: a nice, humbling reminder that there is tons more to life beyond this band life.
