A fun passion project, turning a long piece of selvedge denim scrap into something I can wear for years to come.
These beautiful scraps came from Raleigh Denim, a handmade denim shop here in Raleigh that takes pride in creating high-quality garments built to last and be repaired.
Recently, I broke the zipper on my @raleighdenim jeans, and without hesitation, they repaired them so well I couldn’t even tell.
That level of craftsmanship and care is a huge inspiration to CROP, and the kind of longevity I hope to build into everything I make.
This belt has a scrap vegetable tanned core, encased in selvedge denim, with solid brass grommets, and a handmade sandacsted CROP buckle, from old brass hardware.

This challenges me to come up with new forms, but gives me the pleasure of making more one of one unique packs that you get to use for the rest of your life for material that otherwise be waste
