This is one of those paintings that can have many interpretations. It doesn't have a specific meaning but I wrote this when I finished it:

Atravesando espejos y portales,
identidades y colores juegan tras sus ojos.
El dolor se disuelve,
pero el fuego la llama de nuevo.
Viajando entre el tiempo,
pensamientos y momentos giran en su mente.
ÂżAĂșn puedo sentir?, pregunta â
el fuego la llama de nuevo.

Moving through mirror portals,
identities and colors
unfold and intertwine.
Pain is illusion,
but the fire keeps her coming back.
Moving through time,
thoughts and moments spiral in her mind.
Can I still feel? she asks â

Every spring equinox, i start a new painting.
This one felt like a portal to new beginnings, to rebirth, and to the cosmic dance that brings nature to bloom again after winter. A passage into infinite possibilities, unfolding in the eternal present.

This is the first year I didnât sketch out my painting beforehand. I started with a broad idea, but it evolved as I noticed a recurring theme in conversations with people who felt connected to it.
The theme is about trusting that youâre exactly where you need to be. We often fear making the wrong choice, and stay stagnant due to that fear, but I think every decision we make is the right one for us in that moment.
The ouroborosâthe snake eating itselfâsymbolizes death and rebirth, the cycle of life, opening a portal into the cosmos, to stardust, where we all come from.

This yearâs spring painting is an offering to the cycle of renewal and new beginnings âcentered on the deer and the harmonic energy of nature as it awakens.
Keepers of the forest, deer shed and regrow their antlers, embodying rebirth, transformation, and personal growth. They move between worlds as spiritual messengers, connecting the human, the divine feminine, and the unseen âfaeâ realms.
This piece is a reminder: the light always returns. Life begins again.

I finally got to see one of my favorite bands live on Saturday. @gogolbordello Their high-energy performance blew my mind, it was super fun. All first-gen immigrants from all over the world celebrating cultural diversity and punk spirit, calling for unity among outsiders and immigrants â so needed in these times.
