This is a bike lane my family regularly uses — in an already challenging traffic area. Last week Colorado signed HB26-137 into law, prohibiting drivers from stopping, standing, or parking in bike lanes. Yet the bike lane is filled with parked cars. Bike lanes are designed to create safer space for people walking and riding, not overflow parking or waiting zones. So what actually helps prevent situations like this? More visible paint? More barriers? Better enforcement? More public awareness? Curious to hear from both cyclists and drivers. #DontHitMe #accountability

A sprint is all about timing and awareness. You can have great legs and massive power, but if you’re not in the right place at the right time, it’s hard to capitalize. Respect to everyone who committed to the line. Many thanks and much appreciation to all who made Golden State a great race weekend! #cyclinglife #masterscycling #oldguys

A crit is more than a finish—it’s every rider, every move, every moment. A few snapshots from the race. See someone you know, tag them below. (It isn’t every day us old guys get action pics.) #coloradocycling #criterium #racepics

The best upgrade you can make isn’t your bike - it’s consistency. Not every ride will feel great. Not every day will be perfect. Some races you might get lapped, pulled or have a mechanical - showing up is what makes the difference and it’s what keeps local racing alive. Get out and ride! #NoExcuses #Cycling #CritDay

A tight course. Constant action. A Primal flyer at six to go (not my cat so no need to chase). This finish is about positioning. I nailed it this time. Do you commit early or wait? #critracing #coloradocycling #sprintfinish

Whatever it takes, get the work done, because somewhere someone else is working their a$$ off. #indoortraining #cyclinglife #workforit

New wheel day means pit crew energy. Surprised by the ease in which I was able to mount these tires and get them to seat. A good build and consistent finishing helped the job go smoothly. @lightbicycle wheels for the win! (Race win still loading…) #cyclinglife #roadracing #bikemechanic

Crits with small fields have a different dynamic. There’s less hiding, fewer wheels to follow, and every move matters more. Positioning is simpler—but the effort is constant (or it’s constantly easy 😂). This was a special venue to race with open, safe and smooth roads. Following the rules and requests of the promoter was easy and critical to allow us this opportunity. Participation keeps grassroots racing alive. #critracing #cyclinglife #roadracing #criterium

Nothing fancy. Just riding and some imagination. What are your favorite ways to pass the time in z2? #cyclinglife #indoortraining #rideyourbike

I look for aero optimizations, like some people look for Easter eggs or Pokémon. Narrow arms, shoulders shrugged, head down and eyes up. My current dilemma - which helmet is best? Is it possible for me to change my head placement after 45+ years of riding TT with my head up? Don’t worry the stack is still in process…because like all things cycling, it takes effort. #aero #ridefaster #cyclinglife

Hold your position. Hold your power. Forearm planks help you stay stronger and more stable in the TT position. Train it off the bike. Use it on the bike. Simple. Effective. What is your go to core exercise? #cyclingtraining #timeTrial #corestrength #endurancetraining #cyclingtips
