Don't miss the ⚡️⚡️ lineup of artists doing things their way, along side HUGE offering of public programs and VIP events 💛 14-22 FEB 💛 ------ Join us for the grand opening of NotFair 2026 "Lust for Life" Saturday 14 February 6 - 9pm 83 High Street, Prahran NotFair returns with its 8th iteration, Lust for Life, aptly titled in honour of the late Ashley Crawford, one of NotFair's founders whose belief in creative risk and fierce advocacy for the arts helped shape Melbourne's contemporary art landscape. Taking its cue from this spirit, Lust for Life celebrates the exuberance, urgency, and persistence of artistic practice in a world in flux. This iteration brings together 34 independent artists in an abandoned office building that encourages discovery, friction, and surprise. An uncompromising survey of contemporary practice spanning analogue, digital, and everything in between: painting, sculpture, image-making, screen-based works, site-specific interventions, and works that defy definition. All defiantly brimming with life. Come for the art, stay for the atmosphere, and help kick off what promises to be the most vital NotFair yet. Curated by SuperKaleidoscope Presented by MOP gallery 'Photo-Sculpture pictures, objects and paradox' is a group show bringing together inter-disciplinary artists Criena Court, Michaela Gleave, Gemma Messih, SuperKaleidoscope (Kim Fasher & Sarah Mosca) and Marian Tubbs. The conceptual framework for P-S emerged from a conversation between the artists, regarding the changing nature of photographic representation. The discussion prompted questions concerning notions of authenticity, reality and observation and the paradoxes inherent in the presentation of photographs. Using photography in various ways within their practice, this group of artists explore the performative and sculptural possibilities of photographs.
