Why your makeup is not translating to Camera- a few tips from your pro makeup artist x
- Your skin prep is not for your type. Consider hydration for any break outs, dewy vs matte, oil vs lotion application under your makeup first. Keep it simple so 5 layers of skin prep wont have your application slipping off.
- You are using a full coverage foundation all over your face. Pair it back- consider a buildable coverage and spot concealing areas in need.
- You powder your entire application- creating more coverage, areas that will crack and a matte application. Powder adds coverage, another layer of makeup. Use cream applications for blush, highlighter, contouring, and match those with blush/highlighting/Bronzing powders.
- Your face looks flat. Add luminous powder to cheeks & a glossed lip for contrast.
- The big one-- mist your face with a fixing spray between layers so each one melts into your skin 💫
