Sad news, stress and parklets. Tried to make a quick video explaining all the circumstances around our upcoming closure on Christmas Eve and accidentally recorded a podcast. For those who don't want to listen to me talk for that long:
We are unfortunately closing for good on Christmas Eve this year. We were facing the same challenges as everybody in the industry currently - rising costs and less money in the pockets of our customers. We had intended to fight through these issues as we always have but the removal of the parklet without notice and without a succession plan was the final blow to the business' viability and to my mental capacity to fight on. Thank you to every one of you for the support over the years.

PSA: Christmas Crowler season is upon us once again and it's going to be more hectic than ever so here's the craic if you want Crew beer with your Christmas dinner/as a Christmas present.
We'll be taking orders via Instagram messages or email ([email protected]) up until end of day Sunday the 21st.
We'll fill crowlers on the 22nd for collection that day or the 23rd to ensure beer is brewery fresh come Christmas morning.
Polly (tropical IPA), Act Of Devotion (hazy IPA), Silly Gosling (raspberry hibiscus sour) should all be available and most likely our physalis and mandarin sour will be available however we cannot guarantee orders unfortunately with beer stock dwindling left right and centre but we'll replace anything ordered with a similar style or contact you in the event that all the beer disappears
This will be your last chance to drink Crew beer so drink responsibly, but more importantly, enjoy fully.
Final merch run has landed. T shirts, jumpers, beanies and tote bags in very limited quantities. They're class and comfortable and will 100% sell out so come grab some. No Peanuts were harmed during the making of this world class advert.

Limerick business owners have been left stunned after workers suddenly showed up to demolish their outdoor parklets.
The buildouts are used as outdoor seating and were installed during the pandemic as temporary installations.

Forgot to tell you we've Mario Kart 64 in the pub. Got the bus to Cork, bought this absolute beauty of a 14 inch CRT TV, had two pints and came home. Get yourselves a beer and have a wee race any time. Someone please practice enough to beat Alex because he's currently untouchable amongst the staff.
Solar powered pints! Our new pals @southwest_solar were in this week installing 24 solar panels and battery storage to help us reduce our ongoing energy costs and our environmental impact. We're also fairly sure that beer brewed with the power of the sun gods will taste better but that remains to be seen.
Have to say @southwest_solar were great to work with. A well specced system at a fair price and a smooth, tidy installation carried out by a gang of very sound roofers and electricians. Get onto them if you're considering solar for your gaff ☀️🍺
