Everything in here was hand sourced…reclaimed furniture, antique lighting, end of roll fabrics, every piece of art and bric-a-brac. My hand touched all of it.
There’s an original Henry VIII portrait in there that I still can’t quite believe we found.
From the limewashed walls to 17th century typefaces, every decision was about bringing it back to itself.

This beautiful ‘Placid Lake’ turquoise leather was a considered choice. It is a premium material that showcases the natural variation that comes with genuine materials. Selected from hides often set aside due to their unique markings, we saw this as something to celebrate, bringing bold colour, authenticity and individuality to a pub built around conscious, character-led design.

We recently welcomed @crestleather to the Furnbury studio for a fantastic Lunch & Learn with the team, where we explored the world of leather and its role in interior design.
It was a great opportunity to learn more about the craftsmanship, performance and timeless appeal of one of the most luxurious interior materials.

A brilliant day spent with designer Jemma @kreativekiddle and our furniture restoration partner Grant of @inngearltd hosted by Ben from @crestleather sourcing beautiful hides for the seating at The Bridge Inn refurbishment.
Jemma specifically requested “perfectly imperfect” leather samples, pieces that were overlooked, embracing the permaculture thinking that sits at the heart of the project.
The selected hides will now travel south to the upholstery team at Inn Gear, where they’ll be brought to life as part of the new seating for The Bridge Inn.
