1/4” tape loop installation for 18 East and Earth\Studies. Drove the @korgofficial Minilogue, @teenageengineering OPZ, and @1010_music Lemondrop through the 1010 Bluebox to the Teac reel to reel. Performed a live iteration of this on Friday evening and learned a lot. Next time I think I’ll play solo Minilogue through the granular so I can focus of harmonic progression rather than fussing with multiple instruments. Today I’ll digitize an atonal free jazz loop from Friday night. Maybe I need to make a SoundCloud for that kind of experimental stuff to separate it from the other releases.
