First unleashed in 2012, Red Haze was the raw, unfiltered debut from Plasma XL. Born out of smoke-filled sessions and late-night grind, the mixtape carried an atmosphere that was as heavy as it was authentic. With standout cuts like "Talk To God"and "Rhyme Savage", Plasma XL’s lyricism carved a lane of its own—dark, uncompromising, and straight from the streets of Toronto.
But just as the project was completed, Plasma XL was incarcerated, cutting short the momentum of what could have been a breakout moment. For years, Red Haze lived only in the underground—passed around on burned CDs, ReverbNation uploads, and word of mouth.
Now, more than a decade later, the project is being remastered and officially re-released to all DSPs. This reissue isn’t just about sound quality—it’s about honoring the grind, preserving a piece of Hella Treez history, and finally giving Red Haze the proper stage it always deserved.
