Our hearts are broken over the loss of our long time collaborator and wonderful friend Lynda Rathbone. Nick and I met Lynda when we lived in East London and her beloved dogs Taxi and Leroy featured in many of our photo shoots, alongside our own dogs Stolli and Goose. They were such great dogs, and Lynda a magical human.
They were all instrumental in making our favourite shot of all time happen - Taxi, Leroy, Stolli & Goose alongside Hellmans and Taz infront of an awesome piece of graffiti by
@malarko that was at the end of our street. We still use the photos today, though all 6 of those wonderful dogs are now flying on their little doggy angel wings in heaven. Leroy, and then Taxi’s loss was devastating to Lynda, as it is to all of us dog parents. Taxi’s photo was in so many of our beautiful photos, I knew Lynda would cry if we used one, but it made her so happy to see her photo pop up on our website or newsletter too. They are both on the wall of our shop still today and I will be adding my dear friend Lynda tomorrow.
Lynda was our fiercest and most enthusiastic supporter. She was always so encouraging about my designs and madcap ideas and was constantly coming up with passionate ideas for newsletters or promos. She was instrumental in getting our new website off the ground. We worked on it for months together with
@orssich , all toasting each other over zoom when Alexis finally was able to hit the GO LIVE button.
And when times were tight, she was always happy to swap her time working on SEO for beds, collars and leads for her beloved pups Taxi and Leroy, and then Konza and Chupito.
Oh goodness I will miss you Lynda,
@misscupcakedj @lynda_rathbone I already do. It doesn’t seem real and I am truly struggling to imagine a world without you in it.
My technicolor rainbow friend in your sequin cape. I am so sad not to be able to see you again.
Rest In Peace you beautiful soul. Reunited with Taxi and Leroy, tennis balls and treats forever ❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜🩷🤍
