This trip was something that was very much needed. It allowed me to remember why I picked up a camera in the first place. Which is to create everlasting memories and make it look just like it feels to be there. Growing up watching people on YouTube document their travels and experiences was something that I always wanted to do.

Going into this trip I had no idea what to expect because we were almost meeting as strangers in a new country. We all were experiencing things for the first time and for most of us it had been only our first time meeting in person.

Each day we were tested by stepping out of our comfort zone which in itself brought us closer together. It’s now a fam that will never forget🙌🏽

“Your comfort zone will kill you” as it says on the back of the shirt. It definitely will when you stay comfortable with where you are. Even if it’s something small get out of your shell and test yourself. We’re only here for such a short amount of time, so don’t let anything stop from what you want to do.

Thank you everyone that made this trip possible. This is exactly what I was looking for since I started this whole journey. Being able to step away and create things for yourself is a blessing and having awesome group of individuals to collaborate with is a privilege🤝🏽

What an unforgettable experience to start the year.
Going into this retreat, I was excited to meet a bunch of new faces I’ve only known through social media and group chats.
Being the only one from the Chicago area, I was ready to connect with everyone attending this retreat.
This year, I wanted to expand my connections with like minded people doing the same thing I want to be doing. Without a doubt, a perfect way to start the year and connect with people with the bonus of traveling.
A big thank you Han Min for being an inspiration and creating an environment like this.
I’m glad we finally met and consider you a good friend. I hope one day I can host retreats like this to travel and bring people together.

@creatorsgetaway was nothing short of spectacular. There’s something magical that happens when you’re creating with other creators in a place of pure creation, without ego, or self doubt. Being able to express yourself freely and create just for the love of creation with no expectations.
The relationships built this weekend will be ones that last a life time and super excited to see what gets created in the next one! As well as see what everybody creates in their lives!
