the part that actually makes or breaks a shoot is everything you do before it.
Here’s what my prep really looks like 👇🏽
01. research the vibe first
mood boards, references, color palettes. the vision has to live in my head before it ever lives on camera. if i can’t see it, i can’t film it.
02. plan the edit before i even press record
i’m already thinking about cuts, transitions and pacing while i’m still setting up. filming with the edit in mind changes everything.
03. i check what’s trending and then make it mine
i look at sounds, formats and concepts that are performing… but i’m always asking how i can put my own spin on it.
preparation is the part no one sees. but it’s everything
