This is a reminder that if you're a young person in Bristol city centre and you feel unsafe in any way, The Station is open for you!
Drop in and speak to reception if you need support or simply want to be in a calm, safe space.
It's still #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek and we want to remind you that we offer free wellbeing services for young people. Visit on our website for more information.
At Creative Youth Network we believe in supporting the mental health off our staff and young people attending our services and we think it's so important to lift #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek.
The theme of this year is Take Action. For yourself, for someone else, for all of us.
Meet our new Trustee!
Lucy Caswell is a co‑lead at @bigteamcic , where she develops programmes that support people from underrepresented backgrounds to access careers in festivals and live events, while also working with industry partners to build more inclusive workplaces. Her professional path spans youth and community organisations such as @ace_cic , community radio production and presenting at @ujimaradio_official , and a broad portfolio in marketing, media management and strategic development across festivals, venues and creative organisations in the UK and Europe.
Alongside years spent working within the festival sector Lucy now DJs under the name CEEC, blending her love of disco and garage. Her work is rooted in equity, focusing on access and meaningful connection, and as a Trustee at Creative Youth Network she champions opportunities for young people and advocates for stronger representation at board level.
Welcome, Lucy! 🎉
Don't miss this event delivered by @thecausebristol , one of our partners who have a history of delivering events to bring communities together across Bristol 📢
Up The Youth Club explores the hidden history and cultural importance of youth culture and youth clubs in the UK, and the vital role they have played and play in shaping creativity, music, identity and community across generations.
This event will bring together creatives, youth workers, community organisers and cultural leaders for an afternoon and evening of conversation, reflection and connection.
