A first glimpse of what sits at the core of our tasting menu: aged Devon turbot cooked on brioche, a classic French technique done over fire, with charred lettuce, pickled gem stalks, lettuce and sake bavarois, seaweed and potato tuile, crispy fins engawa and smoked bone marrow caramel.

📍IGNI, Mayfair 5 course tasting lunch at IGNI, an elegant fine dining experience centred around fire and flavour.
From oysters paired with cucumber in the most unexpected ways, to asparagus elevated with seaweed and nori, every course felt thoughtful and beautifully balanced.
The standout for me was the monkfish, cooked to perfection and served with smoked olive and barley. Rich, delicate, and full of depth.
And dessert… tofu ice cream paired with dark chocolate that was unbelievably divine. A combination I never expected to love this much.

As we enter an exciting new chapter, executive chef @cheftheoclench will be leading the IGNI kitchen team, launching an entirely new menu with a culinary focus driven by fire.
Originally from Sussex, Theo began his hospitality journey at age 14. The IGNI menu reflects his personal story, inspired by his Brighton upbringing and coastal childhood, weaving subtle smoke and flame through refined global gastronomy. Each course plays a part in telling a story of land and sea.

‘London/Yokohama Diptych’ is another painting commissioned for @kiokubyendo by @creativerestaurantgroup , bringing together two cities relevant to the venue. The restaurants founder, Michelin-starred Japanese chef @kazutoshi.endo , was born & brought up in Yokohama; and the London panel features landmarks that can be seen from the restaurant – The London Eye, Westminster, Big Ben, Parliament, Nelsons Column. They are visually linked through use of traditional Japanese patterns, and by the ferris wheels featured in both cities. Kioku by Endo is a contemporary Japanese restaurant located on top floor of luxury hotel @raffleslondon.theowo (in-between Downing Street & Trafalgar Square), with spectacular rooftop views of central London.
