Recording engineer @gabe_esparza just won his first Latin Grammy Award for his work on Legado by @marcoswitt , a moment that feels deeply personal.
While working on the album, Gabriel was navigating the anniversary of his father’s passing. He shared that his dad listened to Marcos Witt’s music in his final days, and through this project, he found a way to grieve, reflect, and heal.
In a quiet tribute, he placed his Latin Grammy beside his father’s old measuring tape, a powerful symbol of love, sacrifice, and the kind of work that often goes unseen but shapes everything.
“This achievement is a reflection of both of my parents’ hard work and sacrifice,” said Esparza.
A reminder that art can carry our stories, our pain, and our love, and turn them into something lasting. 🌎🎧
Our planet is a gift we all share. Let’s celebrate Mother Earth by caring for her and keeping her beauty alive for the future. 🌎
