Art can change everything. 🫶
✨ Yesterday we unveiled something truly powerful at the El Paso Juvenile Probation Department — a documentary and gallery from the Transformative Art Project (Project TAP).
In partnership with JPD and Big Brothers Big Sisters of El Paso, we’re using the arts to help justice-involved youth discover their voices, reimagine their futures, and see their self-worth shine through creativity. 🎨
Every brushstroke, every story, is a step toward hope and transformation. 🌟
🎥 The complete documentary is in our bio.

#GlobalVolunteerMonth, the Governor’s Volunteer Awards honored a family whose grief became a gift to countless others.
@onestarfoundation and First Lady Cecilia Abbott recognized Oscar, Yolanda & Adrian Cisneros of El Paso, recipients of the 42nd Annual Governor’s Volunteer Family of the Year Award at a ceremony held at the Governor’s Mansion. This award is the state’s highest honor for volunteerism.
After losing their young son Alex to cancer, the Cisneros family turned their sorrow into service. Inspired by the joy Alex experienced at the Creative Kids @providencechildrens hospital art program, the family began volunteering weekly with Project RAP — supporting children who have experienced trauma in El Paso. For 18 years, through patient guidance and creative expression, they have helped young people process fear, rebuild confidence, and find moments of healing. Every child they support carries forward a piece of Alex’s spirit.
Their compassion, born from personal loss, has become a wellspring of hope for families across El Paso.
Congratulations to the Cisneros family @yolanda.cisneros.01@oscar.cisneros.3174 — your love for Alex lives on in every child you serve. ❤️
Our Creative Kids Project ABLE participants are ready to shine! 🎨✨

Open Hearts Foundation truly embodies the spirit of its name. Founded by Jane Seymour, Creative Kids co-founders Andrea and Stephen Ingle were honored with the Open Hearts Award at the Open Hearts Gala—an unforgettable evening graciously hosted by Jane Seymour in her beautiful home in Malibu.
She presented the award recognizing their impact and commitment to the arts and youth in the Borderplex region of El Paso and Southern New Mexico ensuring that young participants have access to the arts as a powerful tool for healing while addressing mental health challenges and the many traumas our youth face.
The incredible team of the Open Hearts Foundation worked tirelessly to ensure it was extraordinary weekend filled with connection, warmth and generosity and was a profound reminder of the power of purpose and just how far it can reach. ❤️
We are beyond excited to finally be able to share this incredible news! 🎉

The growth into New Mexico continues!
We are thrilled to announce that our Transformative Art Program is officially launching at the Dona Ana County Juvenile Detention Facility this week. 🎨
Our mission is built on the belief that creativity is a vehicle for change and a shift in perspectives. Under the guidance of teaching artists Mary Diesel and Alyssa Robles, we are providing these young individuals with the tools to reimagine their futures through art.
We look forward to sharing the impact of this expansion soon!
Love is in the Art – Part II 🎨💘
Our older students in our Saturday Studio reimagined Valentine’s Day through art - where sweet meets street inspired by the bold style of Banksy. 🖤
Back by popular demand! 🎻
Immense gratitude to @zuillbailey@elpasopromusica and @solisfelipa for filling our space and our students Saturday studio sessions these past two weeks with the sounds of his cello. A truly beautiful intersection of art and music. 🎶
