Creative Kicks provided audio production for the eBay Live stage at Oz Comicon. The brief. Make it neat, loud and clear to cut through the huge crowd noise while also minimising spill for rolling live auction streams across the 2 days of the event.
Speaker hangs on the truss and hidden behind the jumbotron screen kept it clean and the audio focused right where it needed to be. The boys @servidsounds on the edit and @edmundfoximus smashing it on the stream audio.

Shooting for @bloomberg in country Vic, I made me a new mate.
Winston wasn’t part of the crew but got himself pretty involved. Rolling sound on a horse who thought the boom pole was his snack. Sound recordist or horse whisperer?
The Schoeps CCM41 : Not the cheapest mic in the Pelican and for good reason. The CCM41 nails off axis rejection and always sounds amazing, even in tough environments.
We’ve used these on high end interviews, run and gun docos, car rigs, reality and they always hold up. Light, compact, sexy.

‘All The Sharks’ drops today.
Shot in the Maldives, Galápagos Islands, Bahamas, Japan, Australia and South Africa it was a wild trip.
@mike_jabs_ was on the water as sound recordist and drone op, capturing the teams trying to get shots of sharks. Long days on boats, sea sickness, chaos... gear, balance and boom arms were pushed to the limit.

We filmed across the Maldives, Galápagos, Japan, Bahamas, Australia and South Africa. Epic spots, but this shoot was no holiday. Salt wrecked the gear, humidity cooked the batteries, and we spent more time wet than dry.
Long days, tight turnarounds and a lot of travel. Mentally and physically draining but so so worth it for the gold we captured.
Pumped to have been part of it. Big thanks to @bestproductioncompany and @netflix for having me on board.
