Well it’s been a wild ride. Here are some of my fave projects I’ve directed over nearly 6 years being on the programming team at @elevationchurch . Now to move a few desks over to the @elevationworship team . Looking forward to this new chapter …
Tbh I never saw myself creating for a church full time …in America …but life is funny that way, church has been an interesting lane to create in for a full time job, faith is deeply personal and mysterious to me where it can sometimes feel like a strange platform to provide an “experience” for people, but through each project I’ve tried to prioritise the dimension that faith has (for me personally), which is endless and bursting with new things to discover, it’s not an arrival point or human framework but a daily reliance and exploration. And along the way I’ve been reminded of the sobering reality that my faith and my creative desires are at their best when handed to God because that’s when I’ve felt most alive in my purpose and identity. Okk now brb I’m off to create something new.
Directed my first period short for @elevationfilm . Lots of lessons learnt, lots of crazy practical troubleshooting, heatstroke, flat tires and more. Wouldn’t have chosen a better crew to do it all with!
