I started Creative Department for a reason that’s close to my heart. As a creative, I’ve seen firsthand how those in creative departments often don’t get the recognition, respect, or support they deserve.
Many non-creatives don’t understand the importance of the creative process and often dismiss it entirely. They focus on efficiency, A/B testing, and data, believing these are the keys to success.
But I truly believe this approach is fundamentally flawed. Whether it’s product development, advertising, website design, photography, etc. not everything needs to be based on data.
There’s immense value in gut feelings, creative thinking, and doing what feels right—even if it can’t be explained. We need to champion the creative department and those who follow their hearts to create magic.
That’s why I started Creative Department. To fight for creativity, to support creatives, and to ensure they are recognized for their invaluable contributions to the world. 💙
