A quick glance on how we celebrated Women's Day last week 😊. We had a pretty fun day with women from Musanze, where they held a bazaar of their products at Creative Corner, had discussions around "inspiring inclusion" as this year's theme, and altogether, we created a collective mural, as a lasting souvenir of this important day.
Women empowerment is still at heart of our mission, and we can't wait to host and invite you to many more initiatives like this. Stay tuned!!

Creative Spaces across Rwanda are quietly disappearing.
Not because they failed the culture, but because the culture failed to sustain them.
Spaces like Ingabo Museum were never built purely for profit. They were built to preserve identity, mentor young creatives, showcase Rwanda to the world, and prove that the Creative Economy is more than entertainment… it is heritage, tourism, education, innovation and national branding.
Many of these spaces barely make enough to cover rent and operations, yet their founders continue carrying the burden because they believe in Rwanda’s story.
As more Creative Infrastructures close, we must ask: what are @youthculturerw@cityofkigali , @rdbrwanda@rcbrwanda and @intekoyumuco doing to ensure the Creative Economy survives beyond speeches and campaigns?
Support for creative infrastructure should not only come during global crises or international outbreaks. It should be a long-term national priority.
Without creative spaces, emerging artists lose platforms, communities lose culture, and Rwanda loses part of its voice.

Last week, we concluded a powerful week of learning and creativity during our smartphone photography masterclass.
It all started with the basics on how to make the most of your phone camera, framing, and capturing with intention.
Day 2 was all about editing cropping, lighting, focus and learning how small adjustments can change everything. We dived into advanced techniques like manual mode, RAW capture, and playing with light and shadow.
On Day 4,we went deeper into storytelling building themes, giving each other feedback, and learning how to tell stories through visuals.
Each day came with assignments, and seeing everyone apply what they learned in real time was inspiring.
We wrapped up the week with a mini exhibition, where students proudly showcased their work.
