Wrapping up a wonderful month in Ireland — made even more special as it was little Orla’s first visit to the Emerald Isle. Introducing her to her heritage here has been pure magic. ✨ 🍀 Huge thanks to the magnificent @gohbelfast for being the most wonderfully welcoming, family-friendly theatre. From our first hello at stage door with the theatre’s linchpin John we felt completely looked after! They even set up an extra dressing room for @creative_simon and Orla to use as a base while I was working, plus passes so they could come and go. Orla quickly worked out that a cheeky smile on the way in might earn her a banana from the stage door fruit bowl 🍌. We’ve been making tour life work as a family since last July, and this is the first time anyone has offered such a thoughtful set-up.
