Jay Runyon is a South Jersey singer-songwriter whose style has been called “indie-folk-rockster” — blending indie rock, folk, alt-country, and timeless classics. Her sets mix heartfelt originals with covers that span from the ’60s to today, often shining light on songs you don’t always hear everywhere else. Some of her biggest influences include Bruce Springsteen, Ani DiFranco, Indigo Girls, Brandi Carlile, Citizen Cope, and Ray laminating. Singing has always been her first love, and after nearly 30 years on guitar, she loves creating intimate performances where connection comes first. Band members include Pete Ware on electric guitar, Erock Knoll on bass, Garrett White on percussion, and Dave Handley on harmonica, trombone, and sax. The group covers blues, as well as performs original songs, in addition to supporting various music acts and events in the area.
