I’ve been quiet… but not because I haven’t been working. Truth is, I’ve been working harder than ever — just in a different way. 💛
Almost seven months ago, I gave birth to my baby girl and since then, I’ve been doing it all full-time. It’s been challenging and beautiful all at once, but also freeing. Having my own business has allowed me to slow down, be selective with projects, and truly be present for this season of motherhood.
Before that, I went through one of the hardest seasons of my career. I took on some of my most demanding events — long hours, heavy setups, and high-pressure timelines — all while my body was growing another human and fighting constant fatigue from low iron. Some days I could barely keep my eyes open or lift what needed to be lifted, but I still showed up. On top of that, not every client made it easy. Balancing expectations while pushing through exhaustion tested me in ways I didn’t expect. There were moments I questioned whether it was all still worth it.
Closing my venue felt like a loss at first, but looking back, it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It gave me the space to breathe, reset, and rediscover what truly fulfills me.
Despite all of it, I had a quick, natural, and beautiful delivery — just six minutes of pushing and she was here. But a week later, everything changed when my blood pressure spiked over 200 — postpartum preeclampsia. I was hospitalized for three days and came dangerously close to losing my life. That experience shifted everything.
Now, my healthy baby girl is almost seven months — growing so fast, already crawling, sitting up on her own, and eating solids. Every day with her is a reminder of grace and strength.
These days, I’m embracing peace, family, and gratitude for the slower pace life has brought me — and honestly, it feels good.
We’re still working behind the scenes — rebranding, building a stronger team, and shifting our focus toward corporate events, brand experiences that bring visions to life and help other brands shine.
This season taught me that sometimes slowing down isn’t falling behind, it’s preparation for whats next. ✨
