Nestled in the heart of Milan’s Porta Nuova district, UniCredit Tower stands as a stunning symbol of modern architecture. Designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects, this mixed-use complex is a striking new gateway to the city.
The three office towers, with heights of 31, 22, and 11 stories, are dominated by Italy’s tallest building—visible from miles away. The spiraling, asymmetrical 31-story tower is crowned by a sculptural spire, while the other towers’ sleek glass facades reflect the vibrant city around them. Together, they form a dynamic, curved piazza, creating a new public space that brings the city and its people closer.
The towers’ innovative design incorporates energy-efficient features, including high-performance glazing and advanced building systems, reducing energy consumption by 37%. Inside, natural light floods the spaces, offering a bright, welcoming environment for those who work there.
The plaza beneath the towers, surrounded by glass and steel, is not only a visual masterpiece but a hub for shopping, dining, and connecting to the city via Stazione Garibaldi.

[.] Manifesta 15 is larger than any previous edition, spreading over an area of 3000 km/2, with a population of 5.1 million inhabitants, whilst being hosted – for the first time in the history of Manifesta – by 12 cities.
