There are many different breathing techniques that can help calm your system, but have you heard of the box breath? ⁠ ⁠ This consists of a rhythm in the shape of a box. Inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds, exhale for 4 seconds and hold for 4 seconds. Repeat this as many times as feels necessary. Comparing yourself to others isn’t a bad thing necessarily, until it becomes a negative impact on your mental wellbeing. Looking at others work is sometimes part of the process for inspiration and research, but comparing your work and achievements to theirs can be damaging. ⁠ ⁠ Our advice: Look at how it inspires you to create your own work.
