𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗔 𝗜𝗦 𝗦𝗔𝗬𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗚𝗢𝗢𝗗𝗕𝗬𝗘 😔💔 We are deeply sorry to all our loyal guests, team members and friends, but at the end of September, we’ll be closing our doors. This is not due to a lack of love, passion, guests, or motivation. Sadly, it’s the condition of the building that has forced us into this difficult decision. Since spring 2023, we have reported the damage, asked for help, knocked on every door, developed affordable technical solutions, proposed them - and got them rejected without explanation. After this long struggle and ongoing broken promises, we’ve realized our dream cannot survive. It never truly had a fair chance. Not with only one-third of the original usable space left, nor with the city administration that caused the issue by letting trees grow on our earth covered roof, unchecked for decades and then cutting them back, removing the roots that damaged the structure but the same time absorbed the rainwater. An administration that worsened the situation further through a failed repair attempts and now refuse even basic temporary solutions. All while charging us the full rent for two years, month after month. An administration working basically against us, sabotaging our efforts and all the care we and Herrnbräu brewery invested in the location. It’s a fight we cannot win. We went beyond our limits emotionally, physically and financially, but another wet season without any changes is unacceptable. All promises made in February have, been broken, again. There’s neither a plan nor motivation from the administration. Even if they were to change their minds now, it’s too late. We need time to close down responsibly. With broken hearts, we must accept that our dream ends this autumn 😔 If you want to support us, please visit Creativa. CREATIVA’S RISOTTO BALLS | 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗣𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗔𝗟 with Yogurt Sauce & Sautéed Swiss Chard 🌱🔮 ✨ Crispy on the outside. Creamy on the inside. Fresh and vibrant on the plate. ✨ Here’s the full recipe so you can bring this little piece of Creativa magic into your own kitchen: INGREDIENTS Ingredients For the risotto balls: • 50 g rapeseed oil • 100 g white onion, finely chopped • 6 g salt • 250 g risotto rice • 250 ml water + 2 g vegetable broth + pepper • 250 ml extra water • 200 g soy milk • 30 g nutritional yeast • Polenta (for coating) • Extra soy milk • Oil for frying Yogurt sauce: • 200 ml soy yogurt • 2 g salt • 2 g garlic • 10 ml olive oil • 3–5 g ginger (optional) Sautéed chard (optional): • Swiss chard • Rapeseed oil • Salt ⸻ Risotto: Sauté onion + salt in oil. Add rice and stir 3–5 min. Add 250 ml water with broth + pepper. Let reduce. Add another 250 ml water. Mix soy milk + nutritional yeast and add when liquid is almost gone. Cook until creamy. Cool completely. Shape 35–50 g balls ->> dip in soy milk, coat with polenta, and fry until crispy. Yogurt sauce: Blend all ingredients (ginger optional). Set aside. Chard (optional): Sauté sliced chard 1–2 min with oil + salt. ⸻ Plating 🍽️ ✨ Spread a generous layer of yogurt sauce. Add the sautéed chard in the center (if using). Place the crispy risotto balls on top. Finish with olive oil, a touch of soy sauce or chili oil, and chili flakes. Hope you enjoy it! If you make this dish, share your creation with us. In Creativa, the Rosa Latte became one of the favorite warm drinks to start the day on the weekends. reamy, earthy, a little sweet, and full of color when everything outside turns a bit grey. Something magical is baking… 🔮🌱 Saturday mornings, summer 2025 — hands full of plant-based magic, just about to go into the oven. It all began as an idea, born from my workshops, recipes, and those long talks with our beautiful people about the closing of Creativa. Today, after a challenging and emotional closing, with pauses, changes, and many feelings in between — Lola Canela’s very first digital booklet is in the process to be almost ready. 💫 To everyone who’s been waiting with so much love: thank you for your patience, your kind messages, and your support. The handover of Creativa’s building took more time, energy, and strength than we could have imagined. And for those who saw me (Carmen) during the last months at Creativa, you know I’m also about to bring another beautiful project to life… 💙👶🔮 It’s been a time of endings, new beginnings, and much-needed pauses. But just in time for the coziest season of the year, the booklet will be ready next week ✨ so you can fill your kitchens with warmth, color, and that creative spark that connects us all. 🌱🔮💫 Thank you for being here, for believing, and for walking this path with me — and with the team I miss so deeply. ✨ This Weekend at Creativa, 3 years ago ✨ We’re short on time with everything we need to do, but we don’t want to let this message go unsaid: instead of celebrating our third anniversary, we’re packing, throwing away, selling, and giving away everything we built in such a short time. 💔 Link in profile -> Our GoFundMe campaign is still open for those who haven’t seen it yet or would like to keep sharing it. 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗧-𝗕𝗔𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗠𝗔𝗚𝗜𝗖 - by Lola Canela 🔮 I have something very special to share with you ✨🌿 Since we started the Baking Workshops at Creativa two years ago —in winter and this last summer— I’ve been keeping every recipe, every idea, and every little detail with so much love. Even the experiments we tried out with the participants! Now, before Creativa closes, I want to invite all of you who love our plant-based pastry to get the booklet that will soon gather the whole journey of our Baking Workshops. Inside you will find my favorite g.f. mango, apple, and sweet potato donuts, the g.f. banana breads everyone loved, cookies, Ferrero-inspired truffles, carrot-cake truffles, colorful toppings and cashew-based frostings, plus decorating tips and recommendations on where to buy all the ingredients we use in the workshops and Creativa. It will be a collection of both winter and summer recipes. 🌾 99% of the recipes will be gluten-free and with a wholesome touch. Except for one special cake that I’ll keep in its original version because that’s where its magic lies: my Most beloved vanilla cake ❤️💫 I’ll also include a small piece of the story behind Lola Canela, the plant-based pastry project that has accompanied me these past years and brought me so much joy. This booklet will be a collection of memories, flavors, and moments that I want to stay alive in your kitchens, just like in mine. Still not convinced?
