Happy International Women’s Day.
Today is about recognising the achievements of women across every industry and profession.
At Creation DMC®, we’re lucky to work alongside some brilliant people, including our operations manager Alisha, who plays a huge role in keeping the business running day to day.
From coordinating shoots to keeping projects on track and clients looked after, a lot of what we deliver simply would not happen without her.
Outside of work she’s just as impressive. From jumping out of planes to abseiling down 170 metre towers for charity, and raising three amazing children, she somehow manages to do it all.
We’re lucky to have her as part of the team.
And to all the women in our lives, our friends, daughters, mums, aunties, colleagues and partners. Keep kicking ass and being the queens you are.

Team @creation.dmc was invited down to @southdownestageschool by Paul & Emilie Goldthorpe of for a full-day filmmaking workshop.
We spent the day immersing a group of 8-17 year olds in the realities of video production - from industry career paths to hands on technical skills. We brought full kit, including a RED Digital Cinema cameras, DSLRs, multi-camera live mix switchers, and professional audio production equipment.
The students rotated through different roles - camera operation, sound engineering, directing — experiencing first hand the teamwork and precision that goes into bringing a production to life.
It was a brilliant day, and the energy in the room was infectious. The students left with not just new skills, but a spark of ambition for what they could achieve in the industry.
On 28th June, Alisha, Producer at Creation DMC, will be abseiling down the iconic Spinnaker Tower to raise money for George’s Rockstars Children’s Charity.
When she’s not managing multi location shoots or building production call sheets, Alisha is finding ways to give back. Earlier this year, she skydived from 15,000 feet. Now she’s stepping off one of the South Coast’s tallest buildings to support live music therapy for children in hospitals.
We believe in using our platform to support causes that matter. George’s Rockstars is an incredible local charity transforming hospital experiences through music.
