Welcome! 🤍 I’m Courtney Suko, the face behind Creating Confidence. It’s been a while since I’ve formally introduced myself, so I wanted to update my bio and say hello to any new followers who may be here. I’ve been a licensed hairstylist for just over 21 years, and I can honestly say I still love every minute of what I do. Creating confidence in people has always been my passion, and that passion led me to my dream role as a Bellami Regional Educator, a position I’ve been honored to hold for nearly two years. As an educator, I travel nationwide teaching stylists the Bellami curriculum and sharing why Bellami is the number one hair extension brand in the world. My goal is to equip stylists with not only the technical skills, but the confidence to create life-changing transformations for their guests. Behind the chair, my personal specialties are hair enhancements and luxury extension transformations, along with blonding and lived-in, effortless looks that feel elevated yet natural. When I’m not traveling or creating transformations, you’ll find me fully in mom and wife mode. I’m blessed with three amazing kiddos, one fur baby, and an incredible husband who mean everything to me. I also have a deep love for live music and will never say no to a good concert. So, welcome—I’m so glad you’re here 🥰 To my loyal, incredible clients who have become lifelong friends: thank you, from the bottom of my heart. You are truly my home away from home. I’ve built the most meaningful relationships with so many of you over the years, and some days I still can’t believe this is my job. It’s true what they say—when you love what you do, you never work a day in your life. And to those who are new or still on the fence—come sit in my chair and experience what a little (or big) transformation can do for your confidence. I promise, you won’t regret it. XOXO, Courtney 🫶🏻🥰

🫧 DO YOU PRE-WASH YOUR GUESTS EXTENSIONS? 🫧 Do you have to pre-wash your guests extensions prior to install? No, but here is why you might want to start. Once washed the hair “fluffs up” about 20-30% giving it a much more natural look and feel. This will ensure that when the hair is installed that it will blend seamlessly with your guests natural hair. Remember that this is a luxury service and the difference really is in the little (or big) details. #mayeducontent26 #bellamihairpro

Would you believe that almost all of this hair is her natural hair? We only used a few K tips right in her fringe area to accentuate her money piece and blend her shorter bangs that she wanted to conceal for her wedding. Hair extensions don’t always mean adding 24 inches of mermaid hair. There are so many ways to utilize hair extensions that can compliment your natural hair beautifully while elevating it ever so slightly. So if you think hair extensions aren’t for you, think again. #mareducontent26 #bellamihairpro

Let’s clear up one of the biggest misconceptions about hair extensions… If you’re wearing Bellami Hair extensions, you’re not wearing “fake” hair — you’re wearing 100% real human hair. And that means they need to be cared for just like the hair growing out of your scalp. Here’s what that actually looks like: ✂️ Regular Trims Are a Must Just like your natural hair, extensions can develop split ends. Keeping them trimmed helps maintain softness, movement, and that fresh, healthy look. 💧 Deep Conditioning = Non-Negotiable Extensions don’t receive natural oils from your scalp, so hydration is EVERYTHING. Regular deep conditioning treatments keep them silky, smooth, and prevent dryness or tangling. 🎨 Color Maintenance Matters Whether you tone, gloss, or color your extensions, they require upkeep just like your real hair. Brassiness, fading, and dullness can still happen — especially with lighter shades. 🔥 Heat Protection is Key Yes, you can style them—but without protection, heat damage is real. Always use a thermal protectant to keep the integrity of the hair intact. 🪮 Gentle Care Goes a Long Way Think: soft brushing, low-tension styling, and avoiding unnecessary stress on the hair. At the end of the day, extensions are an investment—and how you care for them determines how long they stay looking luxurious and healthy! #bellamihairpro #mareducontent26
