What does a Creative Director actually do?
Think of us as the vision-keepers. A Creative Director is responsible for shaping the overall look, feel, and storytelling of a project — whether that’s an editorial shoot, a brand campaign, a film, or a fashion show. It’s about taking an idea and building the world around it: the moodboards, the styling, the production, the final execution.
The best Creative Directors are part artist, part strategist. They connect the dots between concept and culture. People like Grace Coddington at Vogue, who redefined fashion editorials with her dreamy storytelling, or Fabien Baron, whose work has shaped Interview magazine and Calvin Klein campaigns, are prime examples of how powerful creative direction can be.
In short: a Creative Director isn’t just behind the scenes — they’re behind the vision.
There’s something about women in the wild that feels ancient, like we’ve done this before. The way softness turns into power, the way strength shows up quiet and steady. This shoot was inspired by old-world cowgirls and the kind of prairie magic you can only feel when you’re surrounded by women who get you. Flushed faces, open hearts, wind in our hair… a reminder that we’re at our best when we let ourselves run free together.
