Today @wabosha_maxine and I were back together, this time covering the Canon Masterclass, brought together by @canon.africa . I shot the whole thing on the Canon R6 Mark II with a 24 to 70, one lens, full event, no switching.

Six years of shooting with a gimbal taught me this one thing: your body is your best stabilizer.
Most people hold the gimbal with their arms all day and wonder why they’re exhausted by hour three. The fix is simpler than you think.
👉 Find where your hip meets your torso, right at the pelvic bone
⚖️ Rest the bottom leg of your gimbal there
🔄 Use it as a pivot point for forward, backward, and orbit moves
Your hips carry load far better than your arms. This position gives you stability without the fatigue, and it doubles as a resting point between shots.
