A few moments from a corporate workshop I had the privilege of supporting back in April. What I appreciated most about this space was how quickly the conversation moved beyond roles, titles, and “what do you do?” and into something much more human.
Using the powerful and reflective experience shaped by LEGO® Serious Play® and Gallup Strengths, participants explored the identities they carry beyond work, the ways they naturally show up in relationships and teams, and the strengths they lean on across different parts of their lives.
There’s something about building with your hands that helps people say the things they didn’t know they were carrying.
I'm always grateful for spaces like this where I get to witness stories, insights, and quiet realizations emerge brick by brick.

Where Things Meet is a small, guided Ikigai workshop for anyone in a season of figuring things out.
Maybe you’re a teen thinking about your next path. Maybe you’re an adult rethinking where you are. Maybe you have many interests, strengths, and ideas, but you’re still trying to see how they connect.
In this workshop, we’ll reflect and build with LEGO® bricks as a way to explore what matters to you, what comes naturally, and what direction might be quietly taking shape.
No experience needed. No pressure to have everything figured out. Just come as you are, enjoy good coffee, good conversation, and a thoughtful space to listen to yourself a little more clearly.

This was from a past Ikigai workshop. 3 teens and 2 adults, all in completely different seasons of life, somehow arriving at answers to many of the same questions.

There are two women missing from this reel.
To be honest, this workshop wouldn’t have been what it was without them.
They helped prepare the space, quietly captured the behind-the-scenes, and supported me in ways that felt so thoughtful and instinctive. I didn’t even have to ask. They just knew.
My kids usually take care of documenting these moments for me, but this time, every snippet you see here is from them.
Maybe because they’re entrepreneurs too.
Maybe because they understand that what happens behind the scenes is just as important as the experience we’re holding.
And maybe also because this is what happens in a space like this when we slow down, build, and really listen, we begin to notice what’s needed. And we respond.

Sometimes we move through our days picking up small clues on what we enjoy, what feels easy, what quietly holds our attention a little longer than the rest. They don’t always seem important on their own, and often sit separately in our lives.
And sometimes, with a bit of space, they begin to meet.

I was going through photos from one of our Ikigai sessions after it came up again in a recent workshop, and I found myself lingering on these. Funny how something so small can hold so much.
People landed on something that day. It just didn’t come all at once. Someone kept changing their build until it finally clicked. Someone else only realized what they made when they started talking about it. Then it was suddenly clear what they needed to follow through on.
That’s usually how it unfolds. In those moments where something settles and you know it’s yours.
We’ll run this again in the summer.
